This position is designed to be remote, allowing flexibility while enabling our LCSW to effectively serve students from various schools in the Springfield, Illinois area. The chosen candidate will work closely with school administrators, staff, and families to create a supportive and enriching environment for the students they serve. Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide direct clinical services to clients, including assessment, individual therapy, group therapy, and family therapy, focusing on students who exhibit signs of mental illness or emotional distress.

• Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each student, ensuring that families are engaged and informed throughout the process.

• Conduct brief, evidence-based screenings to evaluate mental health needs and leverage appropriate interventions, including crisis intervention when necessary.

• Participate in case consultations and collaborate with school personnel and external agencies to coordinate care and resources effectively.

• Monitor and document client progress and treatment outcomes, maintaining compliance with ethical guidelines and organizational policies.

• Engage in ongoing professional development activities to ensure competency in serving diverse age groups and specialties.

• Contribute to programs aimed at improving mental health awareness and prevention strategies within school communities.

• Participate in quality improvement committees to enhance service delivery and organizational practices related to mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role will be students within school settings who are grappling with significant mental health challenges, including but not limited to major depressive disorder, anxiety disorders, and severe emotional disturbances. The successful LCSW will work with a diverse population of students, acknowledging and respecting individual backgrounds, culture, and personal experiences. This engagement is pivotal in fostering a safe and supportive school environment that encourages personal growth and academic success.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• Valid LCSW license in Illinois.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 85,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
