Associate Support Services Technician - Laundry and Linen

Job Summary: This role is dedicated to ensuring a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in line with healthcare standards and infection control protocols. The individual will play a vital part in maintaining hygiene and safety across assigned areas. Key Responsibilities:
Work Schedule: Day shift, approximately 37.5 hours per week, including every other Saturday and rotating holidays. This position is located in a regional healthcare facility serving the Midwest area.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in designated spaces.
- Clean and disinfect operating rooms and shared areas.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies safely.
- Properly handle, separate, and dispose of regular and biohazardous waste.
- Adhere to infection prevention, safety, and organizational policies.
- Collaborate effectively within a team and work independently to fulfill department goals.
- High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
- Previous related experience is advantageous.
- Certification as a Surgical Cleaning Technician is preferred.
- 1-2 years of relevant work experience.
