Your work hours will typically align with our clinic’s operational hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some potential adjustments based on client availability and needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to understand each client's unique needs and circumstances, ensuring comprehensive treatment planning.

• Provide individual, couple, and family therapy sessions using established therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy.

• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups that promote mental health awareness and foster community connections.

• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary team members, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to offer cohesive and comprehensive client care.

• Be prepared to offer crisis intervention techniques during mental health emergencies, demonstrating sound judgment and professionalism.

• Educate clients about their mental health conditions, treatment modalities, and available resources within the community.

• Keep accurate records that comply with legal and ethical standards, ensuring client confidentiality at all times.

• Actively participate in case management meetings and continuing education workshops, contributing to team discussions on best practices and new research.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will engage with a diverse clientele facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and substance use issues. Our client population often includes marginalized groups, and thus, it is vital for our counselors to have cultural sensitivity and adapt their approaches to meet the specific needs of each individual.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from a recognized institution.

• Active and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California is mandatory.

• Solid grasp of evidence-based treatment methods and a range of therapeutic interventions.

Compensation and Benefits\n
