Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to ascertain their mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans.

• Utilize effective communication strategies to collaborate with supervisors, caregivers, and other professionals to facilitate integrated care.

• Schedule and conduct regular follow-ups, including home visits and assessments, ensuring continuity of care and support.

• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and individual supervision to continuously improve therapy outcomes.

• Create and maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and therapeutic interventions in our electronic medical record (EMR) system.

• Act as a liaison with the community and health organizations to enhance resources and support for client needs.

• Provide training to staff to ensure high-quality implementation of treatment methodologies and documentation practices.

• Monitor and analyze client data to inform treatment adjustments and enhance program effectiveness.

• Engage in proactive measures to inform stakeholders about client progress and program developments.

• Facilitate follow-up assessments to ensure ongoing support for clients' evolving mental health needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Mental Thrive, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults facing various mental health challenges. Your work will encompass clients dealing with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship dynamics, and substance misuse. Using various counseling methodologies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and family therapy, you will create tailored treatment paths that resonate with individual client needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey.

• A minimum of two years of counseling experience in a clinical setting.
