About the Position

Job Opportunity – Medical Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse – Ohio

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week. Every other weekend and every other holiday required. No call required.

Highlights:

• Patient ratios of 1:4-5 on night shift in a 27-bed specialty unit
• Case mix includes nephrology, urology (surgical and non-surgical), benign hematology, and medical/surgical patients
• Epic electronic medical record system utilized throughout the organization
• Float opportunities to other units within the healthcare system as needed
• Comprehensive orientation of 48 hours provided
• Free parking available for all staff

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of registered nursing experience required
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Valid RN license (Compact or Ohio state license in hand at time of application)
• Epic EMR experience required
• Skills required: IV insertion, telemetry monitoring, intermediate care, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, isolation precautions/PPE, chemotherapy monitoring, non-invasive airway management, and peripheral line care/management
• Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred
• Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
• Two professional references required (at least one from a manager/director or formal leadership position)
