Key Responsibilities

As a Full-Time Physical Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations of patients, including reviewing medical histories, performing specific assessments, and documenting treatment recommendations and results.
• Communicating evaluation findings and treatment plans effectively to patients and their families, ensuring their involvement in goals setting.
• Implementing individualized treatment protocols based on assessment results and the patient's current condition, adapting as necessary to meet the evolving healthcare landscape.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to address patient needs, document significant changes in patient conditions, and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Documenting patient care activities in a timely and accurate manner, maintaining essential records including focused evaluations, care plans, daily encounter notes, interim progress summaries, and discharge evaluations.
• Demonstrating effective time management skills, maintaining an organized schedule, and ensuring timely participation in meetings and departmental activities.
• Contributing to department objectives by participating in quality improvement initiatives and adhering to governmental and accreditation regulations.
• Pursuing continuing education and professional development to enhance skills, and serving as a clinical instructor for students when needed.
• Promoting patient-centered care by enhancing access to our services and participating in community engagement activities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a member of our clinical team, you will work with a diverse range of patients, including those recovering from surgery, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and age-related mobility issues. Our focus is on providing personalized, evidence-based treatment plans that empower patients to regain their independence and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
• A current and valid state license to practice physical therapy in Florida
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of professional experience is required, we also encourage new graduates with strong clinical internship experiences to apply. Candidates with prior experience in outpatient rehabilitation settings are preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
