Work Environment

Located in Tallahassee, our rehabilitation center is designed to create an inviting and therapeutic atmosphere. Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' physical conditions by conducting assessments and reviewing medical histories to determine their physical therapy needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices, ensuring they address the unique needs of each patient.
• Utilize various modalities for hands-on therapy, including but not limited to manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation.
• Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to maximize recovery and achieve functional outcomes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care, sharing insights about patient progress and any concerns that arise.
• Educate patients and their families on exercises and treatment protocols to encourage active participation in their own recovery.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, documenting treatments and progress in compliance with regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and conditions such as fractures, joint replacements, sprains, and strains. Your approach will focus on maximizing independence, improving mobility, and minimizing pain through tailored rehabilitation protocols. Additionally, you will work with clients who have concurrent medical conditions affecting their rehabilitation, requiring a holistic view of patient care.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution, or a Master's degree in a related field.
• A current, valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida.
• A minimum of three years of clinical experience in physical therapy, with significant exposure to orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Strong analytical skills to assess patient needs and effectively communicate progress and outcomes.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to foster a strong rapport with patients and families, ensuring a supportive healing environment.
• The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a rehabilitation center with a focus on orthopedic conditions.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain patient documentation.
• Additional certifications in specialties such as sports rehabilitation, manual therapy, or geriatrics.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
