Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' physical conditions and functional abilities, tailoring assessments to a variety of musculoskeletal and neurological disorders.
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on thorough assessment findings, ensuring that plans are tailored to each patient's unique rehabilitation goals.
• Utilize advanced therapeutic techniques, including hands-on treatments, therapeutic exercises, and modalities such as electrical stimulation, heat, and ice, to alleviate pain and restore function.
• Provide education and guidance to patients regarding proper body mechanics and posture, promoting self-management and injury prevention.
• Monitor and track patients' progress consistently, adapting treatment plans as necessary to optimize recovery outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain detailed patient records, accurately documenting treatment interventions, progress, and outcomes to comply with regulatory standards and improve quality of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will engage with a diverse population of patients, ranging from those suffering from acute injuries to individuals with chronic disabilities. Our specialties encompass various conditions, including back and neck pain, joint pain from osteoarthritis, fractures, post-surgical rehabilitation, and balance and gait deficits. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing tailored treatment strategies that effectively address these conditions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• Board certification by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) is highly preferred.
• A minimum of one year of clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting is required.
• Proficiency in advanced physical therapy techniques and modalities, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
