Our 5,000 square foot state-of-the-art sports medicine facility is designed to support the highest standards of rehabilitation. We pride ourselves on our patient-centered approach, offering a blend of traditional therapies and innovative treatments tailored to meet individual needs. Our current team consists of two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant, all dedicated to fostering a culture of professional development and collaborative patient care.

Work Environment

This position is based onsite within our cutting-edge rehabilitation center. The environment promotes interaction and teamwork among caregivers and patients. Our facility is equipped with the latest rehabilitation technologies and resources, enabling therapists to provide high-quality care effectively. The work schedule is structured for a healthy work-life balance, typically running from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with patients to identify their rehabilitation goals and develop personalized care strategies that address their specific needs.
• Manage a caseload of one patient per hour, providing focused and high-quality care tailored to each individual.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to deliver effective treatment protocols that enhance patient recovery and mobility.
• Evaluate and document each patient's progress, making adjustments to care plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care plans that encompass a multidisciplinary approach.
• Implement exercise programs designed to build strength, improve flexibility, and restore balance, contributing to overall patient well-being.
• Motivate and educate patients throughout their recovery process to encourage adherence to treatment plans and healthy lifestyle choices.
• Explore alternative therapies to reduce reliance on medications and prevent the need for surgical interventions.
• Continuously assess treatment outcomes, providing detailed documentation of all sessions and techniques used.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on individuals who are covered by private medical insurance, ensuring that we can provide personalized care without the constraints often found in larger healthcare systems. Our patient base primarily consists of adults seeking rehabilitation from orthopedic injuries or surgeries. We value the unique backgrounds, goals, and needs of each patient, ensuring an inclusive approach to care.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required, reflecting the advanced educational background necessary for effective patient care.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey must be maintained, without any disciplinary actions affecting the license.
• Proficient in manual therapy techniques and capable of performing clinical assessments to inform treatment plans.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement customized exercise protocols tailored to varied patient needs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, to streamline patient care documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is preferred, promoting an understanding of the challenges and nuances specific to recovery from orthopedic conditions.
• A proven track record of implementing successful rehabilitation interventions and patient education initiatives.

Compensation and Benefits

Evolution Physical Therapy, Inc. offers a competitive compensation range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualification, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement plans, and opportunities for continuing education.
