Key Responsibilities\n

• Implement mindfulness-based interventions, including MBSR, to assist clients in achieving stress reduction, relaxation, and improved well-being.

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to identify clients’ unique stressors, challenges, and therapeutic goals, tailoring mindfulness practices to meet their needs.

• Lead clients through mindfulness exercises, meditation, and breathing techniques to enhance self-awareness, promote emotional regulation, and reduce anxiety.

• Facilitate dynamic group workshops and classes, focusing on mindfulness practices, resilience-building strategies, and effective stress management techniques.

• Integrate mindfulness techniques into one-on-one therapy sessions to effectively address clients’ specific mental health issues while encouraging holistic growth.

• Collaborate with fellow therapists and healthcare providers to create a comprehensive and cohesive approach to client care, ensuring a unified treatment plan.

• Maintain detailed documentation of client progress, therapeutic interventions, and treatment plans in accordance with organizational standards.

• Engage in continuing education focused on mindfulness and participate in regular personal mindfulness practice to enhance your expertise in MBSR.

Qualifications\n

• A relevant Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• Current licensure as an LCSW , LPC , or LMFT in the state of New Jersey.

• Proven ability to integrate mindfulness techniques into therapeutic interventions is essential.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster a supportive, calming therapeutic environment for clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• Demonstrated experience with mindfulness-based approaches, particularly Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), is preferred but not mandatory.

• Prior experience in a telehealth setting is an advantage, highlighting adaptability to remote work and technology usage in therapy.

• Annual salary range of USD 80,000 – 104,000 , commensurate with experience.
