This full-time, contract role spans 35 hours per week, operating Monday through Friday from 8:15 AM to 3:15 PM. The assignment runs through June 25, 2027, offering you a stable and impactful experience in an educational setting.

Candidates with a strong background in school-based speech-language pathology will thrive—this role involves working district-wide, addressing a variety of student needs. You’ll take ownership of your caseload, deliver assessments, and conduct thorough evaluations, while building collaborative relationships with school staff and families.

Key qualifications:

• Current and valid NJ SLP license (CCC required)
• Previous school-based SLP experience
• Confidence providing district-wide services and self-managing caseloads
• Ability to provide your own testing materials
• Reliable transportation and comfort commuting to various district sites
• Willingness to complete onboarding requirements including TB test, physical, and fingerprinting for both agency and district

Role responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech-language therapy across assigned schools
• Conduct assessments, evaluations, and develop individualized intervention plans
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and progress notes for each student
• Coordinate services with educators, parents, and allied professionals
• Ensure compliance with district and state regulations

No Clinical Fellows (CF) or SLPA candidates at this time due to limited supervision. Candidates should be comfortable navigating multiple school locations within the district and ready for a 15-minute interview process.
