Embark on a rewarding opportunity making a difference for students district-wide as a Speech-Language Pathologist in northern New Jersey. This full-time contract role involves providing vital speech and language services during standard school hours (8:15AM–3:15PM), with a consistent 35-hour workweek and an immediate start date running through June 25, 2027. You’ll work collaboratively with school staff, supporting a diverse caseload and ensuring students receive high-quality services across the district.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active New Jersey SLP licensure is required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) must be current
• Demonstrated experience in a school-based speech-language pathology setting
• Proficient in managing a school caseload independently, including assessments, testing, and evaluations
• Ability and willingness to provide your own testing materials as required by the district
• Comfortable commuting district-wide with reliable transportation
• Completed onboarding requirements: TB test, physical, district & agency fingerprinting
• CF and SLPA candidates are not eligible due to supervision limitations

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy to students across the district
• Complete comprehensive evaluations, progress monitoring, and reporting
• Provide documentation as required for IEPs and district compliance
• Participate actively in student support teams, parent meetings, and collaborations with other professionals
• Manage time efficiently to serve caseload needs
• Adapt interventions and materials for diverse learners
