As a full-time LCSW, you will play a fundamental role in providing mental health counseling within a remote school setting, effectively meeting the needs of students and their families in California.

Work Environment\n

This is a fully remote position, allowing you the flexibility to establish a work-life balance while contributing to the well-being of students. You will have the ability to set your own hours and manage your caseload to fit your needs, making it possible to work as little as 5 hours a week or up to a full caseload of 40+ hours weekly. Our platform is designed to minimize distractions and enhance your focus on counseling.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions with students, utilizing evidence-based practices to address mental health challenges.

• Assess client needs through personalized intake evaluations, establishing appropriate intervention strategies tailored to each student's unique situation.

• Provide crisis intervention and manage any urgent mental health issues that may arise during sessions.
\n
• Collaborate effectively with other educators, parents, and professionals to create comprehensive support plans addressing the mental and emotional well-being of students.
\n
• Utilize our teletherapy platform, which includes a library of therapy tools, to enhance client sessions and improve therapeutic outcomes.

• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to maintain licensing and stay abreast of the latest practices in mental health counseling.

• Document client progress and interventions through minimal paperwork while ensuring compliance with all privacy policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily focus on students experiencing varying degrees of mental health issues, typically in a low acuity range. The aim is to provide support that promotes resilience and coping strategies, all while maintaining an empowering and inclusive approach that respects each student’s individual identity and background.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
\n
• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California, with no disciplinary actions against your license.
\n
• Strong communication skills, demonstrating the ability to engage professionally with clients, their families, and administrative personnel.
\n
• Proficiency and comfort with technology, enabling effective virtual counseling.
\n
• Demonstrated independence in managing a caseload while being flexible and adaptable to various client needs.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working in a school or educational environment, particularly with children and adolescents.

• Experience managing your own caseload with a proven track record of positive patient outcomes.

• Any dual or multi-state certifications are considered a valuable asset.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this role ranges from USD 80,000 to 104,000 , dependent on experience and hours worked. Additional rewards include:
