Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to better understand clients' mental health needs, followed by the development of individualized treatment plans.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse client base dealing with various mental health issues, including, but not limited to, trauma recovery, anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, and relationship challenges. Your expertise will be invaluable in creating a safe and supportive space for clients to share their experiences and work towards healing.

Qualifications\n

• Possession of a current and valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) in the state of New York.

• A Master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Proven ability to communicate effectively, establishing and nurturing trusting relationships with clients throughout the therapeutic process.

• Exemplary empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental approach when interacting with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills, enabling you to handle a caseload efficiently while completing essential administrative tasks.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, experience in a clinical setting with a focus on trauma-informed care or specialized training in particular therapeutic modalities will be advantageous. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and virtual therapeutic practices is also preferred.
