Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility and work-life balance. However, our outpatient office in Newark serves as the hub of our operations, where collaborative efforts take place. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts required to accommodate the varying needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for children and adolescents to determine individual needs and challenges.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, taking into account developmental milestones and family dynamics, and regularly assess their effectiveness.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual and family therapy, utilizing techniques that resonate with young clients and promote positive outcomes.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions designed to empower parents and caregivers to foster a supportive home environment.

• Engage in crisis intervention, offering immediate support during mental health emergencies involving pediatric patients.

• Educate families about mental health disorders, treatment strategies, and community resources available to them.

• Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards by maintaining accurate and confidential records of patient interactions and treatment progress.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development activities to enhance therapeutic skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is on children and adolescents facing various mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, ADHD, and emotional and behavioral disorders. Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of New Jersey.

• A robust understanding of child and adolescent mental health issues, coupled with familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

Compensation and Benefits\n
