Work Environment\n

This role allows for a unique remote work setting, affording you the flexibility to conduct therapy sessions from your chosen work environment while still partnering closely with a diverse, collaborative team. Our practice operates Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some scheduling flexibility to accommodate patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, culturally sensitive mental health assessments for patients to understand their unique life experiences and inform treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to the individual patient’s cultural and personal background, utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions focused on addressing mental health concerns, building resilience, and enhancing overall well-being.

• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary team members, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to provide well-rounded care and ensure comprehensive treatment approaches.

• Offer crisis intervention support during mental health emergencies, guiding patients through challenging situations with empathy and professionalism.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, available treatment options, and relevant community resources to foster empowerment and informed decision-making.

• Maintain meticulous records and documentation in compliance with legal standards, fostering a culture of accountability and ethical practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As part of our team, you will work with a diverse range of patients, primarily from multicultural backgrounds, including those within the LGBTQ+ community and immigrant populations. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in New Jersey.

• Demonstrated expertise in understanding a variety of mental health disorders, along with evidence-based treatment methodologies.

• Experience providing individual and group therapy with a strong emphasis on culturally responsive approaches.

• Exceptional crisis intervention skills, with the ability to remain composed and effective in challenging situations.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building rapport with a wide array of individuals from diverse backgrounds.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other standard technological tools utilized in clinical settings.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $70,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
