Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs, focusing on the severity and frequency of symptoms related to mood disorders.

• Develop individualized treatment plans collaboratively with clients, addressing their unique goals and preferences for therapy.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to help clients manage their mood disorders effectively.

• Provide education and ongoing support to clients and their families about treatment options, coping mechanisms, and self-care strategies.

• Monitor and document clients' progress throughout their therapeutic journey, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on their evolving needs.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive, integrated approach to mental health care.

• Stay informed about the latest research and developments related to mood disorders to enhance treatment methodologies and patient outcomes.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in adherence to legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in continuous professional development, attending case consultations and team meetings to further your expertise in mood disorder treatment.

• Act as an advocate for clients, working to de-stigmatize mental health issues and improve awareness of available resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on patients affected by mood disorders, such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related issues. Our diverse clientele includes individuals from various backgrounds, age groups, and socioeconomic statuses, allowing you to utilize your counseling skills to address a wide range of mental health challenges and formulate targeted interventions that are culturally sensitive and relevant.

Qualifications\n

• A valid license as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT is required.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or an equivalent mental health discipline.

• An understanding of California state laws and professional ethics related to mental health practice.

• Candidates must pass a background check through the FBI and DOJ.
\n
• A recent TB Test (within the last 6 months) is required.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 3 years of experience working with individuals experiencing mood disorders, learning disabilities, behavioral problems, and social/emotional disorders.

• Experience in telehealth delivery of mental health services is preferred but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers an attractive annual salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000.
