EXECUTIVE SOUS CHEF Position Summary The Executive Sous Chef assists the Executive Chef in managing all culinary operations and serves as the senior kitchen leader in the absence of the Executive Chef. This position is responsible for daily kitchen execution, supervision of staff, food quality control, training, sanitation, and operational efficiency. Reports To Executive Chef Direct Reports Lead CooksLine CooksPrep CooksDishwashers Essential Duties and Responsibilities Kitchen Management Supervise daily kitchen operations.Ensure recipes and standards are followed.Coordinate food production across all outlets.Manage production timelines.Monitor food quality and consistency. Staff Supervision Train and develop culinary staff.Conduct daily line checks.Assist with scheduling.Monitor employee performance.Maintain professional kitchen culture. Food Production Execute ala carte, banquet and event menus.Assist with menu development.Oversee daily specials.Monitor inventory usage.Assist with purchasing and receiving. Safety and Sanitation Ensure sanitation standards are maintained.Conduct safety inspections.Monitor temperature logs.Ensure compliance with food safety regulations. Qualifications Required Minimum 3 years kitchen leadership experience.Strong culinary and organizational skills.Ability to lead in a high-volume environment. Preferred Culinary degree.Private Club experience. Physical Demands and Work Environment Standing for extended periods.Ability to lift 50 pounds.Fast-paced kitchen environment.
