Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your key responsibilities will include:

• Providing evidence-based individual and group therapy sessions for clients of diverse ages and backgrounds, addressing mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress.

• Creating tailored treatment plans that incorporate clients’ objectives and preferred therapeutic interventions, ensuring that each plan aligns with their unique situations.

• Implementing crisis intervention strategies for clients experiencing acute mental health crises, offering immediate support and stabilization.

• Educating clients about mental health conditions, effective coping mechanisms, and available community resources to empower them on their path to recovery.

• Maintaining comprehensive and confidential client records, including details about assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and outcome measurements, while ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations and ethical standards.

• Exhibiting professionalism by following ethical guidelines and legal requirements related to therapy, including safeguarding client confidentiality and securing informed consent.

• Demonstrating cultural sensitivity and competence when interacting with clients from diverse backgrounds, reinforcing the importance of inclusivity in mental health care.

• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals—including psychiatrists, social workers, and support staff—to provide comprehensive care that addresses all aspects of a client’s mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your practice will primarily focus on a diverse client population, including children, adolescents, adults, and families dealing with a range of mental health challenges. The flexibility of telehealth allows you to reach clients who may face barriers in accessing traditional in-person services, such as those living in rural areas or those with mobility issues.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current state licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).

Compensation and Benefits\n
