Key Responsibilities\n

• Schedule sessions based on your availability, with no minimum hour requirement, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

• Receive compensation for any late cancellations or no-shows, ensuring that your time is valued.

• Engage in ongoing professional development, with annual Continuing Education Unit (CEU) credits funded by the organization.

• Collaborate with a Content Manager to create informative “Expert Insights” that contribute to community knowledge as an optional task.

• Lead therapeutic support groups, if desired, to foster community engagement and shared experiences among clients.

• Receive client referrals from the organization, expanding your reach and impact on community mental health.

• Direct access to our Clinical Operations Teams and a Best-In-Class Care Coordination Team to support your clinical practice.

• Participate in optional Monthly Peer Groups to share insights, best practices, and continue professional growth.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will work with primarily seek support in managing their relationship with alcohol, often desiring moderation or abstinence strategies. A harm-reduction model underpins our policy, recognizing that some individuals may choose moderation. As a counselor, you will guide clients through evidence-based therapeutic methods including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing, offering personalized treatment plans that align with their recovery goals.

Qualifications\n

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC in the state of California.

• Demonstrated training and experience in CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed treatments.

• A solid understanding of the harm-reduction model and its application in treatment.
