Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, enabling you to deliver mental health services from the comfort of your home while maintaining strong connections with our clinical team. You will typically work Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some schedule adjustments as necessary to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting detailed trauma-informed assessments to understand patients' trauma histories and identify appropriate treatment modalities.

• Developing and executing tailored treatment plans focused on trauma recovery and resilience, utilizing evidence-based therapies such as EMDR and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions to assist clients in processing their trauma, enhancing coping strategies, and fostering recovery.

• Collaborating with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to create an integrated care approach for patients.
\n
• Responding to crisis interventions when necessary, providing immediate support during trauma-related emergencies.

• Educating patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources.

• Maintaining accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

• Participating in professional development and training opportunities to stay updated on best practices and advancements in trauma care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on patients who have experienced various forms of trauma, including those with PTSD, complex trauma histories, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

• A master's or doctoral degree from an accredited institution in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• A current and valid state license to practice (LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, or PsyD).

• A strong foundation in trauma-informed care principles and a solid understanding of trauma-related mental health conditions.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills along with a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to client interactions.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with relevant computer applications.

• The ability to create strong rapport and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

We seek candidates who have ideally completed at least two years of post-licensure experience, particularly in trauma-focused therapeutic practices. Familiarity with resilience-building strategies and direct experience in a collaborative treatment setting will be highly advantageous.
