Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations, tailoring individualized therapy strategies to meet the unique needs of each client.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy to deliver effective mental health support.

• Facilitate individual, group, couples, and family therapy sessions, fostering a therapeutic atmosphere that encourages open communication.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation while adhering to legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other medical professionals, to ensure comprehensive client care.

• Engage in ongoing professional development by attending workshops and staying informed about the latest mental health research and clinical practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use issues, and family dynamics. The focus is on delivering compassionate care to clients from various backgrounds, particularly those who may have limited access to traditional therapeutic resources.

Qualifications\n

• Must hold a Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• Possession of active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey is required.

• Minimum of two years of counseling experience is necessary, preferably within a clinical setting.

• A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a healthcare team.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Compensation for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload availability.
