Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess clients' mental health and identify appropriate treatment options, utilizing the latest edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) under the supervision of licensed psychology professionals.

• Provide tailored psychotherapy and counseling services, addressing individual, familial, and group needs. Therapeutic modalities will encompass crisis intervention, brief therapy, skills training, supportive therapy, stress management, couples counseling, addictions counseling, and family therapy.

• Exercise clinical judgment to determine the level of care required for each client, adapting therapeutic interventions based on immediate needs and treatment goals.
\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including physicians and other clinical staff, to facilitate comprehensive treatment plans and assure the best outcomes for clients.

• Keep detailed, accurate records of therapy sessions, prepare necessary reports, and communicate effectively with associated parties, such as family members and social agencies, while ensuring client confidentiality and adherence to regulatory compliance.

• Participate in ongoing clinical consultations and departmental planning to maintain high quality standards. Engage in professional development and training to enhance therapeutic skills and methodologies, ensuring the use of best practices in behavioral health services.

• Provide ongoing assessments and recommendations for treatment and preventive strategies for mental health and dual-diagnosed disorders, promoting client health and well-being.

Our client base includes veterans and their families who may be grappling with a range of mental health challenges, including trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and dual-diagnosed disorders. Qualifications\n

• A valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or a Doctorate in Psychology (Psy.D) within the state of New York.

• A master’s or doctoral degree in psychology, marriage and family therapy, or social work from an accredited institution.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience providing psychotherapy services, preferably in outpatient settings.

• Proficient in the use of telehealth platforms and electronic health records, demonstrating a comfort and skill level in delivering care through virtual means.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 75,000 to 125,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
