This position will primarily be conducted remotely, allowing you the flexibility to manage your appointments and consultations effectively. Despite the remote nature of the role, you will engage with a dynamic team of professionals through regular video conferencing, team meetings, and case consultations. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the severity and impact of clients' mood disorder symptoms, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety.

• Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, aligning with their specific needs, objectives, and personal values.
\n
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to promote recovery and resilience.

• Regularly monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes and therapeutic effectiveness.

• Provide educational resources and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders and available treatment options.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for clients, facilitating communication and collaborative decision-making.

• Stay abreast of emerging research and best practices in mood disorders to continually refine treatment approaches.
\n
• Maintain confidential and thorough documentation of client interactions, evaluations, and treatment strategies to comply with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in case discussions, team meetings, and ongoing training and development activities to enhance clinical skills.

• Advocate for clients’ rights and contribute to destigmatizing mental health care, ensuring transparency and support for their mental health journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be working with individuals coping with mood disorders. This may include clients experiencing symptoms that hinder their day-to-day functioning or those seeking assistance for the first time. By employing a compassionate approach tailored to each individual's experience, you will help them navigate their unique challenges while fostering a safe therapeutic space for exploration and growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure in California as an LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, or licensed psychologist.
\n
• A thorough understanding of evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including CBT and DBT, relevant to mood disorders.
\n
• Knowledge of psychopharmacology to facilitate effective communication with psychiatrists and medical professionals.
\n
• Demonstrated effectiveness in treating clients with mood disorders, evidenced by successful case outcomes.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to build rapport with a diverse clientele effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years working with clients specifically diagnosed with mood disorders, preferably in an outpatient setting.

• Experience in a telehealth or remote therapy setting would be an asset.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for maintaining patient documentation.

Compensation and Benefits\n
