This role is designed to be fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to work from home while engaging directly with clients in their personal spaces. Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions, either in-home or via teletherapy, tailored to the unique needs of the client.

• Implement therapeutic techniques focusing on anger management, coping skills, and social development to help mitigate high-risk behaviors such as self-injury and physical aggression.
\n
• Work closely with youth and their caregivers to enhance decision-making abilities and tackle in-home behavioral challenges collaboratively.
\n
• Engage in consistent collaboration with the broader Child Family Treatment Team and other professionals, ensuring coordinated care and support for client families.
\n
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation of therapy sessions, including intake reports, treatment plans, and progress notes, to support optimal care outcomes.

• Participate actively in monthly team meetings, contributing insights and recommendations to improve service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily serves children aged 3-20 who are experiencing developmental disabilities and intellectual challenges. The role emphasizes culturally competent care, and while proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese is highly valued, your ability to connect with diverse populations of children and families is essential. You will engage with families from various backgrounds to better support their unique needs and enhance their quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, Clinical Psychology, or a related field is required.

• An active and unrestricted Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license is mandatory.
\n
• Availability to work a minimum of 5-10 hours per week during after-school hours, specifically between 4 PM to 7 PM, with the possibility of weekend sessions as needed.

• Valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle for potential in-home visits.
\n
• Ability to pass a comprehensive criminal background check, including fingerprinting.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Demonstrated experience working with children aged 3-20, particularly those with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD).

• Experience with positive behavior support strategies and interventions.
\n
• Familiarity with telehealth tools and methodologies to facilitate remote therapy sessions.

Compensation and Benefits\n
