• Assist in specimen collection and appropriately prepare samples for analysis.
• Meticulously document all procedures, provide training to newcomers or students, and help maintain laboratory quality standards.
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a comparable allied health degree, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one year of employment.
• Ongoing certification maintenance is required throughout employment.
