Work Environment\n

This role offers a fully remote work setting, allowing you to maintain a flexible work-life balance while serving clients through telehealth channels. Our platform is designed to ensure seamless communication with clients and team members. You will work Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, with occasional evening shifts to accommodate client appointments. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Therapist, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mental health and substance use issues, ensuring an accurate diagnosis of any co-occurring disorders.

• Collaboratively developing personalized treatment plans that address both mental health concerns and substance use needs, incorporating evidence-based therapeutic interventions.

• Delivering individualized and group therapy sessions to assist clients in building coping strategies, relapse prevention methods, and emotional regulation skills.

• Engaging in coordinated care efforts with our multidisciplinary team, which includes psychiatrists, nurses, and addiction specialists, providing a holistic treatment approach.

• Regularly monitoring substance use and employing motivational interviewing techniques to inspire and support clients throughout their recovery journey.

• Educating clients and their families on the interconnections between mental health and substance use disorders, emphasizing the importance of adhering to treatment plans.

• Documenting treatment progress and interventions accurately and promptly, adhering to all ethical and legal guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily serve individuals facing the dual challenges of mental health issues and substance use disorders. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and often seek help for anxiety, depression, PTSD, and other mental health conditions compounded by substance use. Your role will be crucial in providing empathetic and effective support as they navigate their recovery journeys.

Qualifications\n

To succeed in this position, candidates must possess:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and active licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona.

• In-depth knowledge of evidence-based therapies for co-occurring disorders, including Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

• Strong understanding of the relationship between mental health and substance use disorders.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration within an interdisciplinary care team.

Preferred Experience\n

Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of direct experience in providing therapy to individuals with co-occurring disorders, demonstrating proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities.
