Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Active state licensure (or eligibility) for South Dakota
• Previous experience in a K-12 school environment preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
• Comfortable utilizing technology for documentation and remote meetings as needed
• Commitment to evidence-based practices and individualized student care

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions using innovative and effective techniques
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of student progress and intervention outcomes
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student communication needs in the classroom
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
• Offer recommendations and strategies for classroom modifications and accommodations
