Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mood disorder symptoms, utilizing clinical interviewing and standardized assessment tools.

• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to their unique goals and therapeutic needs.

• Implement evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate clients' recovery processes.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, treatment modalities, and self-care techniques, fostering a supportive atmosphere for recovery.

• Track and document clients' progress consistently, updating treatment plans accordingly to reflect changes in their mental health status.

Qualifications\n

• A valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) is required.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or a related field.

• Thorough understanding of California laws and professional ethics related to mental health practice.

• Evidence of having passed a background check via FBI and DOJ standards.

• Up-to-date TB test results (within the last six months).

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of three years of post-graduate experience in mental health counseling, specifically pertaining to learning disabilities, behavioral challenges, and socio-emotional disorders.

• Proven track record of effective engagement with clients experiencing mood disorders.

• Familiarity with addiction counseling would be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Heartlight Counseling Center offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
