Job Details Job Location: TC Bar and Book – GRAND PRAIRIE, TX 75050 Position Type: Full Time Education Level: 4 Year Degree Travel Percentage: None Job Shift: Any Job Category: Restaurant – Food Service Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities General knowledge of commercial kitchen operations and culinary skills. Able to communicate verbally, and understand and follow written and verbal instructions, including problem‑solving and conflict resolution. Basic math. Ability to motivate and supervise food service personnel. Ability to maintain records and complete reports as required. Ability to interact positively with employees and the general public. Ability to prioritize time so that work is accomplished on a dependable basis; is reliable and committed to meeting schedules and deadlines. Ability to develop staff to meet accepted standards and departmental objectives. Ability to demonstrate initiative, including being proactive and resourceful, working independently with minimum supervision. Ability to think constructively and search for ways to improve processes. Ability to win confidence and gain respect through consistent demonstrations of personal courtesy, tact and timely responsiveness. Ability to recognize the need to coordinate effort; be reliable in following through on requests and commitments. Ability to work as part of a team; work with interruptions and work with detailed information/data. Previous supervisory experience in food service administration preferred. Equipment Various restaurant equipment. Computer and supporting equipment. Education, Licenses, and Certifications Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college/technical, or 4 years related experience and/or training, or combination. Degree from four-year college/university, or 5 years related experience and/or training, or combination. TABC (Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission) license. Food Handler's permit. Qualifications Possess strong organization and leadership skills with a focus on meeting customer needs. Basic math. Ability to motivate and supervise food service personnel.
