Work Environment

This full-time position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center, which is equipped with advanced therapeutic equipment and technologies designed to facilitate effective treatment plans. Our work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced personal and professional life. As we cater specifically to orthopedic conditions, you will work to build lasting relationships with patients from diverse backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop individualized treatment plans that address each patient's specific rehabilitation goals and needs.
• Manage a patient load of one patient per hour to ensure personalized and high-quality care.
• Utilize evidence-based interventions and hands-on techniques to improve patient motion and mobility.
• Educate patients on their conditions, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications to reduce reliance on medications.
• Monitor progress meticulously and document all services provided to improve accountability and patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians and other therapists, to coordinate comprehensive care.
• Employ various therapeutic modalities, manual therapy techniques, and exercise regimens tailored to rehabilitation objectives.
• Motivate patients consistently throughout their journey to promote adherence to treatment protocols.
• Engage in continuous professional development and stay updated with the latest rehabilitative techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary client focus includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and various musculoskeletal disorders. Patients come seeking effective rehabilitation solutions that enable them to regain mobility and resume their daily activities. You will assist in facilitating recovery from conditions like post-operative rehabilitation, chronic pain management, and other orthopedic-related issues.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Active Physical Therapist license in California, with no disciplinary actions against the license.
• Proven manual therapy skills and the ability to develop effective exercise routines.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT, is essential for maintaining accurate patient documentation and progress tracking.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated competence in conducting assessments and tailoring treatment plans based on comprehensive evaluations.
• Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team, participating in case discussions and contributing to comprehensive care strategies.

Compensation and Benefits
