Work Environment

This role is performed onsite at our modern rehabilitation facility located in the heart of Modesto, California. Our welcoming environment is designed to support both the physical and emotional well-being of patients and staff alike. The facility is equipped with advanced therapeutic equipment and technology to provide the highest standard of care. You will work a Monday to Friday schedule from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., providing a balanced work-life integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients to identify their specific functional needs and challenges.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate a diverse range of therapeutic techniques aimed at improving motion and mobility.
• Provide one-on-one treatment, maintaining a patient load of one individual per hour to ensure focused and personalized care.
• Utilize hands-on manual therapy skills to enhance treatment outcomes and alleviate pain.
• Educate patients and their families about their conditions, pain management strategies, and home exercise programs to facilitate continued recovery outside the clinic.
• Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems, such as WebPT, to document patient care, track treatment efficacy, and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to enhance multidisciplinary care delivery.
• Promote health and wellness initiatives within the clinic to encourage a proactive approach to health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a member of our orthopedic outpatient practice, you will engage primarily with adult patients recovering from a variety of musculoskeletal conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain syndromes. Your goal will be to empower patients through education and tailored therapeutic interventions, fostering independence and confidence in their physical capabilities.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the State of California.
• No prior disciplinary actions or board actions against your professional license.
• Strong manual therapy skills and proficiency in developing effective exercise regimens.
• Demonstrated ability to utilize EMR software, particularly WebPT, in clinical documentation.

Preferred Experience

The ideal candidate will possess at least three years of clinical experience specifically in orthopedic outpatient care, showcasing a history of treating diverse patient populations and demonstrating successful rehabilitation outcomes. Experience in using innovative treatment modalities and approaches will be considered advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 125,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
