Peak Performance Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic full-time Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our outpatient center in Modesto, California. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial evaluations to identify and assess patients' specific goals, limitations, and physical capabilities.
• Manage a caseload of one patient per hour, providing focused and personalized attention to each individual.
• Implement evidence-based treatment protocols to restore individuals' full range of motion and functionality.
• Develop comprehensive care plans that may include manual therapy, therapeutic exercise regimens, and functional training.
• Document all patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately and in a timely manner using EMR software, particularly WebPT.
• Advocate for reducing reliance on pharmacological management and explore non-invasive alternatives to surgery wherever possible.
• Educate patients on exercises, wellness strategies, and lifestyle modifications to support long-term health and prevent future injuries.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and ensure cohesive treatment approaches.
• Monitor progress and outcomes systematically, adjusting treatment plans based on patient responses and emerging needs.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey to foster resilience and positive outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will focus primarily on orthopedic patients, ranging from post-surgical recovery to those managing chronic pain or injuries. You will work closely with individuals seeking rehabilitation services due to sports injuries, accidents, or degenerative conditions. The aim is to guide patients towards regaining independence and improving their overall functional abilities in their daily lives.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist, with a clean professional record and no history of disciplinary actions.
• Extensive knowledge and proficiency in manual therapy techniques to enhance patient treatment outcomes.
• Strong ability to develop and implement tailored exercise protocols for various patient needs.
• Experience utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems, especially WebPT, to manage patient documentation efficiently.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable to ensure effective patient care delivery from the start.
• Familiarity with the latest therapeutic modalities and evidence-based practices in physical therapy.
• Demonstrated ability to foster patient relationships that promote trust and motivation.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary in the range of USD 120,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
