Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions and develop personalized treatment plans based on their unique needs.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and a variety of treatment techniques to enhance patients' mobility and restore functional capacity.
• Maintain a manageable patient load of one patient per hour, ensuring that each individual receives focused and effective care.
• Educate patients on their conditions and engage them in their rehabilitation process, providing motivation and support throughout their treatment.
• Employ manual therapy techniques and develop tailored exercise programs while monitoring their progress and adjusting plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care and develop comprehensive treatment strategies.
• Document all patient assessments, treatment sessions, and progress notes accurately within our EMR system, primarily using WebPT.
• Assess and incorporate non-surgical alternatives to reduce reliance on medications and promote healthier lifestyles.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this role will be on orthopedic outpatient clients, ranging from post-surgical recovery and sports injuries to chronic pain management and mobility enhancement. Our patients often include athletes looking to return to their sports, active individuals seeking to improve their physical function, and seniors requiring assistance to regain their independence. Your expertise will be invaluable in tailoring interventions that address the specific goals and aspirations of each patient.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or higher, with current licensure in California.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is required.
• Strong manual therapy skills with a proven track record of developing effective exercise routines.
• No history of board actions or disciplinary actions on your Physical Therapy license.
• Familiarity with EMR software, particularly WebPT, and ability to document effectively and efficiently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with patients and colleagues.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a fast-paced outpatient orthopedic environment.
• Demonstrated ability to implement successful rehabilitation strategies that lead to optimal patient outcomes.
• Previous involvement in designing fitness and wellness programs to promote long-term health among patients.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 125,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
