Step into a rewarding full-time contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist, making a difference with students in grades 6–8 and 10–12. This school-based role opens the doors to work in the vibrant Houston area (on the southwest side), offering professional growth and variety across either middle or high school campuses—commuting needs are thoughtfully considered when assigning specific sites.

In this role, you’ll have the chance to exercise your expertise in the full range of SLP duties—including therapy, ARDs, testing, and more. For those who enjoy mentorship, supervision-only placements can also be arranged. Caseloads typically range between 50–60 students, allowing you to develop meaningful relationships while providing high-impact support. Clinical Fellows (CFYs) are welcome to apply, fostering a collaborative and supportive learning environment.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid and active TX SLP licensure (image of license required)
• FL licensure also accepted
• Willingness to complete district fingerprinting for credentialing (or already in district system)
• Able to work on-site throughout the school year (August 11, 2026 – May 26, 2027)
• Passion for supporting students in middle and/or high school settings
• Open to clinical fellows (CFYs) and experienced SLPs

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students, based on IEP goals
• Conduct ARD meetings, assessments, and document progress
• Collaborate with educational staff and families
• Option to supervise other SLPs if preferred
