Key Responsibilities\n

• Assure the safety and well-being of patients by conducting thorough clinical evaluations, crisis management, and risk assessments for suicidality and other dangers.

• Lead psychoeducational and process-oriented therapy groups, providing valuable insights and support to patients as they navigate their recovery.

• Facilitate discharge planning beginning on the day of admission, ensuring patients understand their coping skills, transition plans, and available resources.

• Provide clinical support and mentorship to other clinical staff in their absence, promoting a culture of teamwork and mutual support.

• Engage actively with the Utilization Review Department and Business Department regarding authorization and payment processes.
\n
• Maintain open communication with referral sources and outpatient providers to ensure continuity of care at various treatment stages.

• Participate in clinical outreach and program tours, representing our organization and its mission to the community.

• Support milieu staff in interactions with patients and their families, fostering a therapeutic environment.

• Document all clinical services, assessments, and treatment plans accurately and expeditiously, adhering to established guidelines.

• Stay informed of best practices and participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at our detox center, you will work primarily with clients dealing with substance use disorders, mental health challenges, and co-occurring disorders. Qualifications\n
