Job Title: Accounting Clerk
Location: Wayne, NJ Position Type: Full-time Salary: $60,000 We are currently seeking an experienced Accounting Clerk to join our client's team at a law firm located in the Wayne, NJ area. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with opportunities for growth and development. Responsibilities:- Assist the accounting department with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable tasks
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records
- Utilize Excel and QuickBooks extensively for various accounting tasks
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions
- Assist with other accounting-related duties as needed
- Prior experience in accounting or related field
- Proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks is essential
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Prior experience in a law firm or professional services firm is highly desirable
