Your Essential Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments, order necessary diagnostic tests, and develop customized care plans
• Diagnose and manage acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in collaboration with physicians or independently, as your credentials allow
• Educate patients and their families on preventative care, wellness strategies, and chronic disease management
• Prescribe treatments and medications within your professional scope
• Engage in patient follow-ups and chronic care management strategies
• Work cooperatively with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care
• Maintain accurate documentation within electronic medical records (EMR)

Educational Background Required

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Mandatory Qualifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Massachusetts
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or a related specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to obtain within 90 days)
