Biologist for AI Model Training [Remote]

Apply advanced biological expertise to evaluate and shape training data for next-generation AI systems. In this remote, contract role you will review and refine biology-related content, create realistic scientific scenarios, and provide expert feedback that improves model accuracy, reasoning, and real-world relevance. Prior experience with AI is not required, your domain knowledge is what matters.

• Critically evaluate biology-related data, prompts, or content used in AI development workflows, providing detailed, evidence-based feedback.
• Create, review, and refine scientific scenarios, questions, and explanations that reflect complex, real-world biological problems.
• Provide expert-level insights to ensure accuracy, relevance, and appropriate depth of training datasets and model outputs in the biological domain.
• Collaborate with project or platform teams to clarify ambiguities and improve data quality, coverage, and representativeness.
• Document methodologies, rationale, and findings to support transparency and reproducibility in deliverables.
• Participate in iterative review cycles and ongoing evaluations to continuously enhance the AI system''s capabilities in biology.
• Engage in knowledge-sharing with interdisciplinary experts to enrich project outcomes.

• PhD in biology or a closely related life science discipline.
• Deep understanding of core biological principles and the ability to contextualize complex topics for diverse audiences.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a record of clear scientific reasoning and feedback.
• Experience in scientific data analysis, critical evaluation of research, and synthesis of complex subject matter.
• Proven ability to work independently and consistently deliver high-quality outputs within defined project frameworks.
• Prior work on interdisciplinary scientific or technology-focused projects is desirable, exposure to AI is a plus but not required.
• Strong attention to detail, consistency, and a commitment to scientific rigor and accuracy.

Pay range: $80.00 to $90.00 per hour. Compensation is output-based and paid per task that satisfies the project specifications. The hourly range reflects typical pay equivalence; actual payment is per approved task.

• This is a remote contractor opportunity. Any work-authorization or location-specific requirements will be communicated during onboarding.
• Candidates should be available to start promptly; selected experts are expected to begin their first tasks within 24 to 48 hours after completing onboarding.
