Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs and concerns, enabling the development of tailored treatment plans.

• Provide individual therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other relevant techniques to address clients' specific requirements.

• Engage clients in establishing therapeutic goals and objectives, routinely monitoring their progress and making necessary adjustments to treatment approaches.

• Facilitate teletherapy sessions for clients who prefer virtual visits, ensuring accessibility and continuity of care irrespective of geographical barriers.

• Maintain meticulous and timely documentation of therapy sessions, assessments, and treatment plans, adhering to professional standards and regulatory requirements.

• Participate in ongoing training and professional development workshops to remain current with best practices and innovations in the mental health field.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field is required.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) within the state of Connecticut.

• Minimum of 2 years of direct counseling experience, particularly in clinical settings, is essential.

• Demonstrated knowledge of legal and ethical standards within the field of mental health counseling.
