Work Environment\n

This role is primarily remote, allowing therapists the flexibility to create a personalized work environment that suits their style. The position requires you to maintain a structured work schedule, typically Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening and weekend hours on a rotational basis to accommodate client needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients experiencing mood disorders, identifying symptom severity, frequency, and duration to inform treatment decisions.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, integrating their personal goals, preferences, and evidenced-based interventions.

• Utilize well-established therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to deliver impactful treatment to clients.

• Provide education and support for clients and their families regarding mood disorders, emphasizing treatment options and self-care strategies that encourage recovery.

• Monitor and document client progress meticulously through clinical notes and treatment updates, adjusting interventions as needed based on said evaluations.

• Stay informed about developments in mood disorder treatment by actively participating in ongoing training and professional development activities.

• Advocate for de-stigmatization of mental health conditions, while promoting awareness about treatment and support resources available for mood disorders.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Therapist, your primary focus will be on patients experiencing various mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. You will work with a diverse clientele, utilizing culturally competent practices to establish rapport and effectively address their unique challenges.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Must possess valid licensure as an LCSW-C, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Maryland.
