Full-Time Staff Physical Therapist (OPT) - Rehabilitation Facility

Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations of patients with functional limitations and disabilities to develop personalized treatment plans.
• Provide consultations to interdisciplinary healthcare providers to facilitate each patient's continuum of care.
• Develop and implement treatment plans that are consistently evaluated and adjusted based on patient progress.
• Educate patients and their families about the treatment process and expected outcomes, ensuring they understand the goals and methods being utilized.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of evaluations, treatments, patient progress, and communication with other healthcare professionals to comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Participate in leadership functions including community outreach, quality improvement initiatives, and program development, while also supervising and mentoring physical therapy aides and students.
• Attend regular staff meetings and pursue ongoing professional development through training sessions and educational programs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patient population at our rehabilitation facility includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgery, sports injuries, stroke, and other musculoskeletal conditions. Our therapists are expected to provide compassionate care and demonstrate cultural competence when interacting with patients of all ages and backgrounds. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active State License in Physical Therapy.
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills for effective patient interaction and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Proficiency in word processing and computer skills to maintain accurate documentation and records.

Preferred Experience

A minimum of two years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist is required. Experience in a rehabilitation setting is highly preferred, as it demonstrates the ability to work with patients across a range of diagnoses and recovery stages. Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic approaches and a commitment to maintaining high standards of care will further support your success in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
