Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, including psychosocial evaluations and diagnostic interviews tailored to the school-aged child or adolescent population.

• Collaborate with students to create personalized treatment plans that incorporate their unique goals, cultural contexts, and family dynamics.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) in individual and group sessions aimed at improving emotional regulation and coping skills.

• Provide crisis intervention services for students experiencing acute distress, ensuring timely access to necessary support and resources.

• Maintain thorough clinical documentation, including treatment plans and progress notes, consistent with regulatory standards and our organizational policies.

• Educate students and their families on mental health conditions, empowering them with tools to manage challenges effectively.
\n
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of educators, mental health professionals, and case managers to ensure a cohesive support system for students.

• Regularly assess treatment outcomes, adjusting plans as required to enhance effectiveness with ongoing evaluations.

• Stay current with the latest mental health research and best practices, integrating new knowledge into therapeutic strategies.

• Uphold ethical standards and maintain patient confidentiality at all times, ensuring a safe therapeutic environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with students in a school setting, addressing a wide array of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, and trauma-related stresses. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required for this role.

• Active and unrestricted license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.

Compensation and Benefits\n
