Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments to evaluate the mental health status of clients, integrating diagnostic tools and interviews to establish a comprehensive understanding of their needs.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that reflect evidence-based practices and incorporate ongoing assessment of progress.

• Facilitate regular therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based approaches tailored to individual client needs.

• Equip clients with coping strategies and tools to manage symptoms of mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression, and trauma-related issues.

• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team and make appropriate referrals to other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists, when necessary, to ensure comprehensive care.

• Document client progress and treatment outcomes accurately using electronic health record (EHR) systems and maintain compliance with confidentiality and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse client population that encompasses a wide variety of mental health conditions. Your patients may include individuals struggling with substance abuse, mood disorders, eating disorders, and life transitions. Your cultural competence and sensitivity in dealing with various backgrounds will be crucial in effectively engaging and supporting clients throughout their treatment journey.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LPC/MHSP, LPC, or LCSW in Tennessee is required.

• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience in providing mental health counseling, with a wealth of knowledge in varied therapeutic practices.

• Strong understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities, accompanied by a commitment to ongoing professional development.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation range for this position is between USD 70,000 and 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
