Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to understand clients' mental health concerns, accurately formulate clinical diagnoses, and develop individualized treatment plans that align with best practices.

• Provide specialized therapy, including individual sessions as well as couple and family therapies, employing therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Trauma-Informed Care as indicated by client needs.

• Offer crisis intervention services to clients facing acute mental health challenges, ensuring their immediate safety and wellbeing.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, including treatment plans and progress notes, while adhering to HIPAA regulations and ethical standards.

• Collaborate with peer professionals within a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic treatment and share insights on client progress and challenges.

• Empower clients through education on mental health issues, applicable treatment modalities, and local community resources, advocating diligently for their rights and needs.

The client population at Health First Psychotherapy Services encompasses a diverse range of individuals from various cultural, socio-economic, and demographic backgrounds. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will work with clients facing various challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and self-esteem difficulties. You will play a critical role in guiding them through their therapeutic journey in a respectful and empathetic manner.

Qualifications\n

• Valid licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (either LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C) in the state of Maryland.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a closely related field.

• At least two years of clinical experience in a relevant mental health setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range between USD 85,000 and 100,000 annually, in recognition of your experience and expertise.
