The Mind Marvel Institute is seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. Work Environment\n

This remote-based position offers the flexibility of working from home while still being an integral part of a supportive team. Though physically distanced, our therapists engage in regular virtual meetings, supervision sessions, and team-building activities to ensure a connected and cohesive work environment. The hours are set from Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., enabling a balanced work-life structure.

Key Responsibilities\n

The Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist will be responsible for:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations to assess client symptoms, including the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder experiences.

• Developing personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, ensuring they align with individual needs, goals, and preferences.
\n
• Implementing evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) effectively within therapy sessions.

• Providing educational resources and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care practices to enhance overall well-being.
\n
• Monitoring client progress regularly, adapting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
\n
• Collaborating with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care that addresses both mental and physical health needs.

• Staying abreast of current research and advancements in mood disorder treatment to constantly refine and improve therapeutic approaches.

• Maintaining meticulous client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards to protect privacy and confidentiality.

• Participating in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development to foster a culture of growth and learning.

• Advocating for clients and promoting mental health awareness to combat stigma and enhance access to care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clientele includes individuals experiencing a spectrum of mood-related disorders, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Additionally, we provide specialized services to vulnerable populations such as the homeless, refugees, and victims of domestic violence. Therapists are encouraged to establish a nurturing therapeutic alliance with clients, focusing on their unique experiences and paths to healing.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is mandatory.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n
