Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to determine client needs, develop personalized treatment plans, and set measurable therapeutic goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on a diverse client base, including adults, adolescents, and families dealing with a range of psychological issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. Counselors will engage with clients experiencing varying degrees of mental health challenges, requiring adaptability and a deep understanding of mental health conditions.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or a Doctorate in Psychology (PsyD).

• A minimum of a Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proficiency in building rapport with clients via virtual means.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, prior experience in remote therapy, knowledge of telehealth practices, and specialization in areas such as trauma-informed care or crisis management will be beneficial. Compensation and Benefits\n

Urban Care Counseling Center offers an attractive salary range from $75,000 to $104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. We also provide a sign-on bonus for joining our dedicated team of therapists.
