Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized physical therapy plans for patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patient musculoskeletal function, utilizing diagnostic tools and tests tailored to each patient's unique circumstances.
• Direct physical therapy assistants in the implementation of established plans of care while working collaboratively to achieve optimum patient outcomes.
• Administer hands-on therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and modalities such as traction and massage to enhance recovery.
• Evaluate and modify treatment programs as needed based on patient progress and physician recommendations, ensuring a dynamic approach to each patient's care.
• Prepare and maintain detailed documentation for patient progress and outcomes, complying with healthcare regulations and maintaining high standards of clinical excellence.
• Participate actively in interdisciplinary meetings to discuss patient cases, contribute insights, and collaborate on comprehensive treatment plans.
• Educate patients and families on the proper use of physical therapy devices, self-management techniques, and lifestyle modifications to maintain health post-discharge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
