Work Environment

The position is based in our state-of-the-art outpatient facility located in beautiful Cypress, Florida. Our facility is equipped with the latest therapeutic modalities and technology, promoting an environment conducive to healing and recovery. You will work alongside a passionate interdisciplinary team in a collaborative setting, ensuring comprehensive care for each patient. This role is primarily onsite, allowing for direct engagement with clients and fostering relationships that enhance their rehabilitation experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement individualized treatment plans aimed at restoring function, alleviating pain, and enhancing muscle performance based on initial evaluations.
• Direct and supervise the implementation of therapy protocols by physical therapy assistants, ensuring adherence to established standards of care.
• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' physical function through standardized tests and evaluations, creating detailed prognostic reports.
• Evaluate each client's home environment to identify barriers to independent living and provide recommendations for modifications that support rehabilitation.
• Deliver physical therapy interventions as prescribed by referring physicians, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and the application of modalities.
• Utilize appropriate therapeutic equipment, including orthotic and prosthetic devices, and ensure proper fitting for optimal patient use.
• Maintain detailed clinical documentation reflecting patient progress, treatment adjustments, and discharge summaries in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, contributing insights for a holistic approach to patient care.
• Educate clients and their families about therapy objectives and at-home exercises to maximize rehabilitation outcomes.
• Stay accessible to Physical Therapy Assistants during patient treatment to provide guidance and address any immediate clinical concerns.

This role primarily serves orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic pain syndromes. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Current and valid licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in the State of Florida.
• Certification in CPR.
• A valid driver's license and reliable means of transportation.

Preferred Experience

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting, with a demonstrated ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively. Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and familiarity with evidence-based practices in orthopedic rehabilitation are highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

Top Point Physical Therapy & Wellness offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
