Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Highland Rivers Counseling Center, your responsibilities will include:

• Facilitating engaging and supportive group therapy sessions that promote discussion, healing, and connection among clients.

• Providing individualized therapy to help clients explore their thoughts and feelings while developing personal coping strategies and actionable plans for improvement.

• Collaborating with clients to create and implement tailored treatment plans that incorporate their specific goals and preferences.

• Regularly monitoring and evaluating client progress through assessments and feedback, adjusting therapeutic approaches as necessary.

• Working closely with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including psychologists and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care and effective communication regarding client cases.

• Actively participating in team meetings to discuss client progress and treatment approaches, contributing your insights and expertise.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses primarily on teen and young adult clients, ages 18 to 30, who seek support in overcoming various emotional and psychological challenges. By offering evidence-based therapeutic interventions in a telehealth format, you will assist clients in navigating issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment difficulties.
